In 1839, two Polish emigrants founded “Patek, Czapek & Cie” that, twelve years later, would become “Patek Philippe & Cie” with the arrival of Adrien Philippe, a watchmaker from Paris. In 1932, the company was acquired by the Stern brothers and has remained in the family throughout four generations and holds over 70 patents, the results of its passion for perfection, constant innovation and pioneering spirit.

The first pocket watch with the minute repeater, the first Swiss wristwatch, the precision regulator, the perpetual calendar mechanism for pocket watches, the split-second chronograph, the self-winding mechanism, a watch with time zones, a record of awards for precision and the most complicated watch in the world, the Calibre 89, with 33 complications are some of the many feats in the world of watch making coming with the signature of Patek Philippe.

In 1985, David Rosas managed what can only be considered quite a feat in the world of luxury. Through a pioneering commercial strategy, became the official and exclusive Portuguese representative of Patek Philippe. Within the first two months, David Rosas sold thirteen Patek Philippe's and, over the course of the years to come, became one of the most important European clients of the brand and the largest on the Iberian Peninsula.

A story of tenacity and entrepeneurialism.
